User Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data associated with your ViralEngine account, including data collected through optional integrations such as WhatsApp Business / Meta Platform. These instructions are provided for users of ViralEngine and for Meta App Review.

1. Overview

ViralEngine is an AI operations and automation platform. Depending on what you use, we may store account information, workflow data, and — if you connect WhatsApp Business — messaging and Meta Platform data.

You can request deletion of that data at any time. For full details on how we handle information, see our Privacy Policy.

2. How to request data deletion

Follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line Data Deletion Request.
  2. Include in the email:
    • The email address associated with your ViralEngine account
    • Your workspace or business name (if applicable)
    • What you want deleted (for example: full account deletion, or only WhatsApp / Meta Platform data)
    • If relevant, the WhatsApp Business phone number or WhatsApp Business Account ID connected to ViralEngine
  3. Verify your identity if we ask for confirmation (we may reply from the email above to confirm the request came from an authorized account admin).
  4. Receive confirmation when deletion is complete or when we explain any limited data we must retain by law.

3. What we delete

When you request deletion, we will delete from our active systems, as applicable:

  • Account profile information (name, email, workspace settings tied to your user)
  • Automation / agent configuration and related run logs associated with your account, where feasible
  • WhatsApp / Meta Platform data obtained through your connection, including message content, phone numbers linked to conversations we stored, tokens, and connection metadata
  • Other personal data you submitted to ViralEngine that is not required for legal retention

4. Timeline

After we verify your request, we delete the applicable personal data from our active systems within 30 days. Residual copies in encrypted backups may remain for a limited period until those backups rotate.

We may retain limited information when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or accounting purposes (for example records of a deletion request itself).

5. Disconnecting WhatsApp / Meta without full account deletion

If you only want to stop WhatsApp data collection and remove that integration data:

  1. Disconnect the WhatsApp Business account in ViralEngine product settings, or
  2. Revoke ViralEngine’s app access in your Meta account / Business settings
  3. Optionally email [email protected] with subject Data Deletion Request and ask us to delete stored WhatsApp / Meta Platform data for that connection

After disconnect or revocation, we stop collecting new WhatsApp data for that connection. Stored WhatsApp / Meta Platform data for that connection is deleted within 30 days of disconnect or an explicit deletion request, subject to the limited exceptions above.

6. End customers of businesses using ViralEngine

If you messaged a business that uses ViralEngine (for example over WhatsApp) and want your data deleted from that business’s records, contact that business directly. ViralEngine processes such data as a service provider for the business customer. We will assist our customers with valid deletion requests as required.

7. In-app deletion (when available)

Where product settings allow you to delete a workspace, disconnect an integration, or remove stored conversations yourself, those controls also initiate deletion according to the timelines above. Email remains the guaranteed method if in-app controls are unavailable for your account.
